Energy Management System - ISO 50001:2011

ISO 50001:2011 Objective is to Provide Organizations with a Framework for Integrating Energy Performance into their everyday Management Practices. International Organizations will have access to an Internationally Harmonized Standard for Implementation across the Organization with a Consistent Methodology for Identifying and Implementing Improvements.

This Certificate specifies requirements for Establishing, Implementing, Maintaining and Improving an Energy Management System (EnMS). The intended outcome is to enable an organization to follow a systematic approach in achieving continual improvement of energy performance and the EnMS.

ISO 50001:2011 Certification

a) Is applicable to any organization regardless of its type, size, complexity, geographical location, organizational culture or the products and services it provides;
b) Is applicable to activities affecting energy performance that are managed and controlled by the organization;
c) Is applicable irrespective of the quantity, use, or types of energy consumed;
d) Requires demonstration of continual energy performance improvement, but does not define levels of energy performance improvement to be achieved;
e) Can be used independently, or be aligned or integrated with other management systems.

ISO 50001:2011 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:

1. Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
2. Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
3. Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
4. Measure the results
5. Review how well the policy works, and
6. Continually improve energy management.

Energy Management System, on the other hand, promotes the use of eco-friendly sources of energy and management of climate change which has a direct impact on our environment. ISO 50001 certification provides the system for energy saving, energy control, and energy management system. The ISO 50001 documentation toolkit contains energy manual, procedures, SOPs, forms, quality plan and ISO 50001 Audit Checklist in an editable format.

All Documents should be Self Attested.

1. Personal PAN Card Copy.
2. AADHAR Card Copy.
3. Company Registration Copy or Incorporation Certificate or Electricity Bill.
4. Scope of Work on Company Letter Head (With any 1 Director).
5. Energy Management System Policies and Objectives
